Mr Flitcroft

It has been an eventful term in school for me this term. Firstly, along with the rest of the Moore’s Childcare team, we had the privilege of being invited to attend in the ‘Attachment and Trauma’ training on the early November inset day. All the staff found it useful, but for me personally, the generosity of the school to open it up to us was fantastic and greatly appreciated.

I also had the opportunity to help Mrs Flitcroft decorate the Loxdale Primary school Christmas tree at St.Leonard’s church in Bilston. The decorations were amazing as they were all made by the children which gave it a very special and unique look.

Next there was the Christmas Fair on the 7th December. It was extremely popular and the line to see Santa seemed to go on for miles. Not just Santa, but with all the other activities available too,  the excitement on the children’s faces was clear to see. Especially after the raffle for laptops!  I saw a lot of festive cheer from the pupils that were lucky enough to win one. I’m sure the governors, including myself, would like to thank all the staff involved in making it happen.

Finally, I saw the school choir perform outside Morrison’s supermarket on the 13th December. They really sang their hearts out and the hard work and practice shone through-they were a credit to the school. I believe they will be amazing when they attend ‘Young Voices’ in the New Year.
