I have been a member of staff at Loxdale Primary School for a little over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed that year. I do not come from a teaching background, as I have spent the last 10 years working in finance. However, during the last year, I have seen many examples of what I believe to be great teaching and learning and can see first-hand the difference that it makes to the children of the school. Loxdale Primary school is helping children to develop not just their education, but also their personalities and their social skills. We have a lot of very well-mannered and polite children who are a credit to the school, their families, their teachers and most of all themselves.
I’m very proud to be a staff governor and look forward to helping drive the school forward as it embarks on the exciting new adventure of moving to a brand new school in September 2019.
