Last week in Art, Year 5 Cedar were learning all about 'expressionism'. The children created a sculpture and painting that showed a style of art which relates to how real images are distorted and exaggerated to express the inner feelings or ideas of an artist. They used a variety of skills to emphasise their sculptures which included wedging, rolling and joining.
By using vibrant colours and different brush stokes the children created some beautiful art. Ask them all about it!
